I'm Yujiro Mitsunaga. I've been building websites and running social accounts for small businesses in Sendai, Japan, since 2025, and I'm almost always the only person on the project. I started One Person Desk in October 2026 and run it alone.

Most "best tools" lists never tell you which tools the writer uses. Every article here does. I say what I run myself and what I've only researched from pricing pages, template galleries and help docs. I write for one reader: someone running a small publishing operation alone, with nobody to delegate to and no budget for the wrong subscription.

How tools get picked

• It has a free plan or a real free trial, so you can check it before paying.
• One person can run it without onboarding calls or a developer.
• Every tool gets at least one honest drawback.

How this site makes money

Some links here are affiliate links. If you sign up for a paid plan through one, I may earn a commission, and you pay the same price either way. Commissions don't change the order of a list or whether I mention a drawback. When a tool with no affiliate program is the better answer, I recommend it anyway.
